2006 Cadillac

Bloggin about some recent projects…….we have  1974 VW Bug, that just got a new top, and front seats…..welding the holes in the floorboard so it won*t have to be driven like  Fred Flinstone…(feet on the ground) style.  Adding new  carpeting throughout, and rewrapping the horn pad in the center of the steeringw wheel make this vehicle  ready for another 400,000 miles…
2006 Cadillac received a  simulated convertible,  equipped with a  fiberglass shell.and  grey  tuxedo grained vinyl top., and stainless steel moldings, and appropriate logo*s on this Cadillac.

Porsche 2

We have been doing a lot more rain related problem solving lately………cars that flooded due to drains being plugged up…were amended, steamed cleaned and put back on the road.

Sunroofs that were malfunctioning, not closing properly…..due to a myriad of reasons…

And you know that Porsche, doesn*t like to sell small parts that break………no…you have to buy entire assemblies, that cost Thousands of dollars…….whereas in reality, a few simple repairs…..and voilla…….things are good again.

Working with Insurance Companies, can be harrowing, difficult, frustrating, and often times come back to bite one on the hind quarters…
Having a solid working relationship with The Insurance Companies is always Helpful. Resulting in less hassles, and quicker settlements.

Case in point……….guy comes in with a torn rear plastic window on his Porsche Boxster….

He leaves a few days later, with a New Blue Canvas Top, with a Rear GLASS WINDOW..now with a Defroster……..and he gets $$$$ back.

Sometimes we repair window regulators instead of replacing them….once again……..saving the client large amounts of $$$.

Doing a Boat, and talk about attention to detail….!!!

Porsche

Client  brought me in his  race  seats from his Porsche,  and wanted me to upholster them using  blue jeans  that he wore………so what was I supposed to do?………..They came out  great,   and certainly,  a  unique   comfortable look……

Not every job is a big one…a lot of times, we do those small annoying tears, and eliminate the stains, burn holes that happen in life.

e.g.  spilled  coffee*s ,  latte*s ,   drinks,    milk products better  have  quick attention,  or you*re going to deal with the consequences   big time…….

Lots of leaky  cars   have  plugged up drains,  and  slight sunroof adjustments   can mean the difference between  dry, versus   smelly mold growing  experiments.

Office  chairs  don*t need to be replaced,    if you merely want to beef them up,  or add padding.,  to bring them  up and ready for the new year.

Pimp Snoop’s Ride

When Snoop Dogg needed his ride pimped, he turned to his main man, Dennizzle of Markelizzle.

These are a few photos of the custom auto interior that Dennis and his team created for Snoop Dogg’s “Snoop Deville.”

They used leftover long-haired indigo fox fur pieces from the custom auto interior project to craft a fox fur coat for the Snoop Dogg doll.

Dune buggies, Mercedes & Caddies, oh my!

today we modified a client*s brand new 2011 MBZ S-63………..apparently for 160 K plus, does not guarantee that the seats are just what you need to sit up straight, and not have your tush sink towards the back. He dropped it off in the morning, picked it up in the afternoon, and said it was much, much better.

Working on a dune buggy doing some yellow and black upholstery, using carbon fiber yellow material….coming out gorgeous………..

Tomorrow Tuesday, we*re installing seat heaters in a Toyota Corolla……..

Lots of convertible top work these days……….post de facto rainy season…..still upon us.

Simulated convertible for a CTS in the next few days. New carpeting in a 1971 280 SL, perforating the carpet to hide the speakers in the rear, give the vehicle a fresh clean look.
